DIY Nail Polish Stand

Hi! So I really wanted to but one of those transparent racks you drill on your wall but then I saw this 3 tier cupcake holder and thought this will do So I just added a bit of detail on to it and it now holds most of my nail polish! Not to mention this is really cheap vs buying an acrylic holder. (I got this from Divisoria for less than 70php) This would do for now.

Materials Used:
Cupcake Holder
A Pair Scissors
 Duct Tape
Scalpel (Really Important)
Double Sided Tape

One strip could be sliced into 4 actually, then afterwards, tape it to the side of the piece then cut off the excess using the scalpel. It really made the job easier for me and made the cut really precise. I go the scalpel from Saizen.

The surface is easy to destroy even just a little tug would create ripples on the surface. So
if you commit any mistake then just use double sided tape.
TADA!
 Say Hi Liam!
Don't forget to glue gun the sides and inner corners of your nail polish holder so that it would be even more sturdy!

Enjoy designing your nail polish holder!

DIY: Translucent powder

Translucent powders, mineral veils or finishing powders are used to seal your makeup in. For girls who have oily skin like me it is a necessity. I didn't want to spend too much on translucent powders so I searched online for the most common materials used for it. I read through different DIYs of it too.

This is what I came up with!

I used Rice flour, Cornstarch and Vanilla Powder for fragrance and of course your container. For added color I used Snoe's Poudre Extraordinaire in Perfect Beige which also has SPF 30++  and Acai Berry. I planned to include arrowroot powder in place of Talc powder, which could cause breathing problems and lung cancer. But I can't seem to find arrowroot powder in any of the grocery stores I go to :( I'll add it to my mixture when I find arrowroot powder.

Anyway just mix everything THOROUGHLY for the tint to really spread itself. I used 2 tablespoons of each ingredient. While I used 1/4 tbsp vanilla powder.

I use this powder religiously and even made a travel-sized version of it. I love it and everything costed about 60php!

DIY: Galaxy Cross Notebook

Another late DIY post. Which was really easy to do! My Galaxy Notebook!

All I used were the ff:
What is important here is the placing of the duct tape. It has to be even and aligned (unlike what I did)

Then, the best part is putting the glitter! and then tapping it like mad! hihi.

Hope you found this helpful! x

DIY: Aztec Shoes

I intended to make a gif for this but then my Photoshop started acting funny. Ugh. Anyway I wanted to show the shoes I made from a few months back. So here it is!

Made from Crayola fabric pens, acrylic paint and a whole lot of diligence and scrutiny. I'm looking forward to making more DIY projects in the near future.

Tips: If you're planning to make this especially you're planning to make it aztec or anything geometric LINE your shoes properly and make the design before you start painting it. Unlike what I did. Makes the painting itself easier.

Start with a white base, no matter what color your shoes are but only paint the parts where you plan to put the design. If you plan to cover the whole thing then it would be no problem at all.

Make use of anything you could get your hands on! I used toothpicks, tape, cards etc.

Enjoy!
